Author and botanist John Anthony Adams owns and operates the last remaining orange grove in Rialto. He holds a Ph.D. in soil science from the University of California at Riverside, and has previously written the books Dangling from the Golden Gate Bridge and Other Narrow Escapes and Dirt.
