Joy Ruble is originally from Knoxville, TN. She is a former high school English teacher and has written for various newspapers, including Northwest News in Albany, GA, where she was a staff writer and columnist, the Knoxville News Sentinel, where she wrote as a guest columnist, and a community newspaper in Monterey, CA. She currently tutors high school students in grammar, writing, and SAT prep. Joy lives in Knoxville, TN with her husband, Sam. They have two sons, Zach and Jacob Ruble. Joy's passions are playing tennis, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
