Autorenporträt
Since I can remember, I dreamt of being a dancer. Over the years, that dream slipped into costume, performance and song, whilst motherhood and science took me through a different voyage of discovery. As the curtain came down on those days of stage and applause, I became an avid family historian and extensively researched the branches of my own family tree and many others. Not knowing our distant ancestors yet discovering snippets of information about their lives in records, newspapers and dusty archives, I love using my imagination to write about what might have happened. I look forward to sharing those stories with you over time. I also write non-fiction historical investigations with the Field Detectives under the name of Catherine Pincott-Allen.
