Cäcilia Fluck, Ph.D. (1991) in Philosophy, University of Münster, Germany, is independant collaborator of the Skulpturensammlung und Museum für Byzantinische Kunst, Berlin. She has published on late antique and early christian archaeology, especially textiles, from Egypt. Gillian Vogelsang-Eastwood, Ph.D. (1989) in archaeological textiles, Manchester University, is a textile historian and director of the Stichting Textile Research Centre, Leiden, the Netherlands. She is particularly interested in Middle Eastern textiles and clothing.
