A colorful and candid look at my 60 years in the music industry. Obviously a large portion of my life has been dedicated to singing and arranging and I will still arrange if the right person asks (and I'm in the mood) but I actually have other hobbies and interests like golf and golf and golf. I'm extremely blessed at this age to be able to play 2 to 3 times a week (or more) and when I'm not playing I'm watching golf on TV or working in my yard. Yep, you read that right. Believe it or not, I've mowed, weeded and manicured my yard since I bought a home on Tyne Boulevard in 1975. The more my yard looks like Augusta, the better. No matter how much time I dwell on my career in the music business or a recent golf round in the 70's, I'm quickly reminded that the thing I'm most proud of is my family; my five sons specifically, but also my four granddaughters, four grandsons and one great-granddaughter. I cherish the relationships I have with them very much because I know how important it is to have a super-cool grandfather, something I learned from my Grandpa Bergen. Several times when I was little boy, my grandfather and I would travel on a Greyhound bus from Picher, Oklahoma to St. Louis to see the Cardinals play, and I've been a fan ever since. Did I mention I play golf?
