Lisl H. Detlefsen writes while she watches wildlife wander past her office window. She is the author of the 2017 Wisconsin Ag in the Classroom Book of the Year, Time for Cranberries, illustrated by Jed Henry, and If You Had a Jetpack, illustrated by Linzie Hunter. Lisl lives on a cranberry marsh near Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, with her husband and two sons, and her favorite part of the year is when it's time for harvest.
