Over time, we have been able to see how people with some kind of disability have been increasing in society, especially in the case of those who are deprived of their liberty, often remaining in oblivion. These are people who are vulnerable when they are in a penitentiary centre, and in some places they have little support and material for their recovery. The aim of this paper is to compare the legislation and doctrine of Colombia, Spain and Mexico, in order to be able to contribute positive aspects to the legislation of each country, as well as to improve it.
