God is love and love brings hope. We are all designed with a purpose, and it is to reveal who God is to the world. The inspiring stories in this book define the "why" and "how" for this purpose, so that we can live it out every day. You want to change the world? Start making ripples of hope - Be The Change! -Kourtney Govro Author of A Ride Down the Road and A Day on the Water How can you change the world? Hope, kindness, generosity, compassion, humility, grit, courage, gratitude, empathy, joy, forgiveness, and love - carried out in your everyday life, one moment, one action, one person at a time, creating small ripples that you send out into the world. This book tells the stories of people who lived out these powerful traits and used them to make a splash that created ripples. As you read each story, you will see how interconnected these traits really are, and how, when put into action, their ripples coincide and coalesce to make warm and soothing waves of inspiration and hope, as well as powerful waves of love that can wash down the mightiest walls of oppression, injustice, prejudice, hatred, exclusion, indignity, and violence. The stories in this book will make you laugh, cry, gasp, and get goosebumps, but mostly they will challenge you to create ripples and make waves in the world each and every day. If accepted, this challenge will change many lives, including your own - and change the world for the better.
