Autorenporträt
Donna Hogan participated in medical outreach while a student at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis. She led Bible-based fellowships and prayed for patients, visitors and hospital staff. Upon graduating with a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing, she established home-based Bible fellowships in Colorado, California, Washington and New Jersey. She later resumed academic studies at Binghamton University, the State University of New York at Binghamton, where she earned both a Master's degree in Family Health and a PhD in Nursing. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a health consultation business, Wellness Without Meds. Her business focuses on healthy alternatives to dependence upon prescriptive medication. In addition to promoting wellness, she participates on intercessory prayer teams and teaches Biblical principles to fourth, fifth and sixth graders at her local church. She currently resides in Florida with her beautiful English Cream Golden Retriever, Bailey, and his buddy, Rhema, an adorable Russian Blue kitten. Her two sons are grown and busy establishing their careers. Her plans include inspiring the next generation of nurse and church leaders, as well as mentoring her community's young adults.
