William Willard (1926–2016) was a professor of cultural anthropology at Washington State University. He was a founding coeditor for Wí¿azo Ša Review. Alan G. Marshall is a professor emeritus of anthropology at Lewis-Clark State College and a cultural resource consultant for the Nez Perce Tribe in Idaho. J. Diane Pearson is a lecturer in Native American studies at the University of California, Berkeley. She is the author of The Nez Perces in the Indian Territory: Nimiipuu Survival.
