They lived in a small house with many family members. Yet, she was able to overcome many obstacles of life by placing her faith in God at an early age. To overcome her obstacles, she had to move from her home place to live with relatives. The schooling that she needed was not available in Fowl River. She gives credit to her success to a loving mother, the church, and absolute trust in God.
