Occupational health and safety standards are increasingly being consolidated and monitored in Brazil, always seeking to ensure safety and improve the working environment for employees, thus avoiding possible risks to their health. Companies' search for this adaptation is also evolving in the current scenario, where they often faced resistance in some companies. Currently, the Regulatory Norms (NRs) are being applied and inspected with the status of law in the country, in order to increasingly spread this idea of worker safety as one of the main focuses of companies. This work was carried out with the aim of analysing and evaluating the machinery in a foam lamination sector in a mattress factory, seeking to identify possible risks, qualify them and suggest improvements and adjustments for these machines, in order to meet the requirements of NR 12. Using the case study methodology, it was possible to carry out the entire survey, identifying, analysing and evaluating the risks foundand then suggesting improvements to be implemented to adapt the machines in the sector.
