Due to the nature of the product stored at petrol stations, any installation or system for storing petroleum products and other fuels is a potentially or partially polluting undertaking and a generator of environmental accidents, as leaks of petroleum products and other fuels can cause environmental contamination, as well as posing risks of fire and explosions. The aim of the study was to propose risk management for the environment, health and safety of the workers involved in the activities carried out at a petrol station. The Preliminary Risk Analysis (PRA) methodology was used. Activities distributed by sector were analysed, including vehicle refuelling, fuel unloading, the oil change sector and the management/convenience/stockroom/cold room sector.
