Nowadays, the healthcare services are characterized by a high level of risk, made evident by a continuous interaction of multiple peculiar heterogeneous and dynamic factors that make an healthcare organization a complex system. In this work we will firstly introduce Risk Management in Healthcare, its birth, development and evolution over time. Afterwards, we will focus in the particular field of Risk Management in Dental Implantology.
