Stock Market and commodity markets are the most vibrant sectors in the financial system, marking an important contribution to economic development. The important decision is to select optimum combination out of them to generate maximum return with minimizing risk. The appropriate commodity selections those are suitable for investment is a difficult task. This project investigates the performance of selected Agri Commodities namely Turmeric, Coriander, Barley, Jeera and Soya bean in the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange of India (NCDEX) over the period 2010-11 to 2014-15.The objective of this study is to determine the risk and return relationship of selected Agri commodities. Predicting daily behavior of commodity market is a serious challenge for investors and corporate stockholders this study can helps them to invest with more confident by taking risks and fluctuations into consideration. This project is aims at carrying out Technical Analysis, Descriptive statistics analysis and Growth performance analysis of the selected Agri Commodities and to assist investment decisions in this Indian Market.
