Tom Bisset was born in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Maryland. He is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, Greenville College (Illinois), and Johns Hopkins University. He has worked exclusively for Peter and John Ministries since l964, first at WRBS-FM and WRBS-AM in an on-air position, then as General Manager, and finally as President of Peter and John Ministries. Today he is retired and serves as Chairman of the Board. He is the author of Why Christians Leave the Faith, Good News about Prodigals, and Every Day with Jesus, which is the original version of A Risky Obedience: The Story of Peter and John Ministries. He lives in Lutherville, Maryland, with his wife Mary Ruth
