Autorenporträt
Kathy Guyitt is a retired Florida State Certified General Contractor. She is one of a few female GCs who owned her own remodeling company and has won many awards for her work. Kathy was born in Los Angeles, California, but moved to the east coast when she married an Air Force Major. Kathy worked in Interior Design and the home improvement fields. After her husband retired from the Air Force, he joined Kodak and was transferred to the southeast. They settled in Florida where Kathy decided to pursue full-service remodeling. Through the years, Kathy has noticed that many jobs in the Construction field were not held by women, but could be. She dreamed of conveying to children, and adults, that nowadays if you dream it, you can live it!
