Ferreira graduated with honors from Saint Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas with a Master of Arts degree in Counseling, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy, and from Bowie State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. With over 27 years of leadership and teaching experience, Sonya has cultivated a diverse perspective with unique insights into personal and professional relationships.She is the visionary for Emissary Way which focuses on building bridges of connection and understanding through faith and practical principles for growing leaders in marriages, families, and communities. Her seminars are characterized by authenticity, humor, and transparency.When she is not traveling, Sonya resides in Tampa, Florida with her husband, Dave, and their two sons, Elijah and Ephraim.
