During my time in health care (~47 years), I saw much in the way of suffering and adversity. In line with that, I often hear the question "why do Christians suffer?" When I or my family met with adversity, my resource was always God and the Bible. I have read several books on the subject and it just seemed to me "they" were leaving out much of what the Bible has to say about suffering and adversity. Through much prayer and after several years, I have a book which I believe will help answer the question of why Christians suffer and it is basically a step by step Biblical approach to help deal with suffering and adversity. It covers the subjects of "Who is God", "Who is Jesus", and why does it matter ... on to the subject of prayer and a need for an open, accepting heart.

Autorenporträt
I am retired after ~47 years in health care. I started in EMS (Emergency Medical Service) and took the first EMT (Emergency Medical Tech) course in the state of Kansas. Later becoming a Paramedic and later yet becoming a RN. I have a Bachelors Degree in Nursing. So, I spent many years on the street in an ambulance and many years in the hospital in the Emergency Room and in the Intensive Care Unit. Have been married twice, the second time for over 43 years now. I have 6 children (some from each marriage). I am a Born Again Christian. Something I do not flaunt, but something I share if and when possible. I am just and "ol' sinner saved by grace".
