This text presents an analysis of the rajueleado technique as part of the cultural heritage, from its origins as part of the construction systems, to being part of the cultural expressions, whose greatest splendor was in the 18th century, in different types of buildings. The technique is not exclusive to this area, as there is evidence of the application of this technique in different states, such as Morelos, Guerrero and Zacatecas. In Puebla there is an example of its application in the Amoxcalli library, in Tehuiloyocan, in the region of Cholula.The relevance of this building is due to the main façade of the gallery that houses the library, which is decorated using the rajueleado technique; In which zoomorphic figures, iconographies, forms, symbols, religious forms, passages of daily activities of a population are captured, that is to say by means of this technique the human being shapes part of his identity, since the man has that need to express and to manifest his feelings, experiences and experiences through the decorative arts, whose purpose is not only to embellish the buildings, but to transmit sensations by means of textures, forms and symbols.
