In the same year investment Frenchmen initiate the construction of the biggest textile factory of Latin America, which was inaugurated on October 9, 1892 by the President Porfirio Díaz, providing I use 1,700 workers, including 60 women. The municipality of Río Blanco is delimited to the north by Ixhuatlancillo and Orizaba to the south-east by Rafael Delgado and to the west by Nogales.
