Released in 1972, it was the only album to be released by the band, who split up the same year. In a review for music website allmusic, critic Sean Westergaard awarded Road three out of a maximum five rating stars, though criticises the performances of each musician, as well as the songwriting and production quality. A studio album is an original collection of new tracks by a recording artist. It usually does not contain live recordings and/or remixes, and if it does, those tracks do not make up majority of the album and are often "bonus tracks". Due to their prepared nature, they usually contain a variety of flourishes and production techniques, including segues, sound effects, found sound, and band contributions.
