Ryan LaMantia was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1980 where he lived until he moved to Denver, Colorado in 1998. He remains in Denver and lives with his teenage daughter and their family cat. Apart from writing, he enjoys movies, music, and a good game of pool or pinball. He is also the author of Road Trip.
