Autorenporträt
Don Sprtizer, a native of Colorado, has lived in Montana for thirty years. He earned his doctorate in history from the University of Montana. Before retiring, he was a reference librarian at the Missoula Public Library. He has served on Hellgate Elementary School's board for more than twelve years. In addition to several articles on Montana history, he has published tow previous books, Waters of Wealth: The Story of the Kootenai Rivers and Libby Dam and Senator James E. Murray and the Limits of Postwar Liberalism.
