Robert Steven Ferley (born 4 February 1982) is an English cricketer, who currently plays for Kent County Cricket Club. He is a right-handed batsman and a slow left-arm bowler. He was born in Norwich. Having gone on the England Under-19 tour to India, he took 4/32 in the second One-day International. On the back of this performance he was chosen for the British Universities South Africa tour in 2002. He played for Kent in the County Championship for the first time in 2003, claiming figures of 4/76. He failed to secure a position in the first team, thanks to Min Patel hitting form at the same moment. In 2005 he received an extension to his contract. He left Kent to join Nottinghamshire in 2006, returning to the Hop County at the end of 2008. Ferley has recently been playing regular matches for Kent because of the absences of Amjad Khan and Ryan McLaren.
