Autorenporträt
VIRGINIA HARGER-GRINLING is Professor and Head of the Department of French and Spanish at the Memorial University of Newfoundland in St. John's. She is the author of numerous books, scholarly articles, and papers on French and French-Canadian literature, including Alienation in the New Novel of France and Quebec (1985) and Violence in the Canadian Novel Since 1960 (1981). TONY CHADWICK is Associate Professor and Director of the Humanities Program at the Memorial University of Newfoundland, and has published a variety of articles and papers on Robbe-Grillet, Sartre, and Malraux. He is co-author, with Virginia Harger-Grinling, of Alain Robbe-Grillet: Une bibliographie (1987).
