David R. Landis is a retired educator with nearly forty years of experience as an elementary school teacher, principal and superintendent of schools. He and his young family raised animals and grew vegetables on their farmette in Pennsylvania, this story is a celebration of some of the memorable adventures and mishaps they had. He hopes to share the joy and lessons of farm living with young audiences through Robbie to the Rescue, and maybe encourage a few laughs along the way.Dr. Landis and his wife, Karen Luckenbaugh, live in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and Prospect Harbor, Maine.
