Cambridge University Cricket Club is a first-class cricket team. It now plays all but one of its first-class cricket matches as part of the new Cambridge University Centre of Cricketing Excellence. Home fixtures are played at Fenner's. The earliest reference to cricket at Cambridge University is in 1710. A Cambridge University team played matches against an Eton team in 1754 and 1755, although those were not first-class matches. We do not know if the Eton teams were present or past pupils.
