Autorenporträt
Jack P. Cunningham received his doctorate from the University of Ulster and currently coordinates and teaches in the undergraduate theology programme at Bishop Grosseteste University College and in the postgraduate programme at the Lincoln School of Theology. A historian with an interest in late medieval and early modern ecclesiastical history, in particular the Reformation period, he is also a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. He is the author of "James Ussher and John Bramhall: The Theology and Politics of Two Irish Ecclesiastics of the Seventeenth Century" (2007) and has published articles and essays in a variety of journals and collections. Much of his recent work centres on the formation of national and religious identity during the Reformation and is based on studies made in Iceland, Denmark, and Ireland.
