Barbara Fanson is an author and graphic designer of 2 other picture books: Shirl the Squirrel Rises to New Heights and Robin Sees a Monster, 30 how-to books, and a Tragedy on the Twenty, historical fiction. She enjoys hiking and photography when not feeding squirrels. She lives in Hamilton, Ontario with 7 squirrels, 2 robins, a rabbit, a dashing black cat, and her human family.
