KIM GIRARD is a professional coach, author, youth speaker, and personal growth junkie, with a passion for helping teens and young adults live extraordinary lives. With a BA in Communications from The University of Connecticut, she traded snow boots for sandals and the warmth of sunny California. In 2009 Kim became a certified life coach with the ICF accredited Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). Formal education aside, Kim is a life learner and has seemingly perfected failing forward. She has a PhD in "what not to do," which has proven invaluable when it comes to working with college students. As the CEO of Kim Girard Coaching and creator of "Rock Freshman Year," she has dedicated her life to helping college students connect with their passion and live purposefully. Through individual coaching, the students Kim works with are more confident, stretch out of their comfort zone, and are more prepared for the future.
