Roddymoor is a village in County Durham, in England. It is situated to the north of Crook. Built to service the Peases West Cokeworks, and the pits situated around the village, it is predominantly a red-brick village with the exception of Dale Terrace, East Terrace which although red brick was a private street and not part of the council estate. With the only employment once the pits and Peases had closed being the Paint Factory (now a private residence) the village is of the dormitory variety now.
