Rodney Blake (born c.1967) is a retired American expatriate professional basketball player. He had a standout college career at Saint Joseph's between 1984 and 1988 before embarking on a career that would take him to the Continental Basketball Association as well as leagues in over half a dozen countries. A 6 ft 8 in (2.03 m), 220 lb. (100 kg) center, Blake led NCAA Division I in blocked shots during the 1986 87 season. He still remains one of the top shot blockers for a career in Division I history. Blake, originally from Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania, attended Monsignor Bonner High School in Philadelphia. He made a reputation for himself playing basketball and was ranked one of the top 50 players in the country by the time he graduated in 1984.
