Rodney Wallace (born February 10, 1949 in Pueblo, CO) is a former NFL running back. He was drafted out of New Mexico and earned a Super Bowl ring in his first year in the league as a member of the 1972 Super Bowl VI-winning Dallas Cowboys under coach Tom Landry. A running back (RB) is a gridiron football position, who is typically lined up in the offensive backfield. The primary roles of a running back are to receive handoffs from the quarterback for a rushing play, to catch passes from out of the backfield, and to block.
