Rodolfo Terlizzi (17 October 1896 11 July 1971) was an Italian Olympic fencer. He won a gold medal in the team foil event at the 1920 Summer Olympics and a silver in the same event at the 1932 Summer Olympics. Fencing, which is also known as modern fencing to distinguish it from historical fencing, is a family of combat sports using bladed weapons. Fencing is one of four sports which have been featured at every one of the modern Olympic Games. Modern fencing originated in the 18th century, as a direct continuation of the 18th century French school of fencing which had in turn been influenced by the Italian school of the Renaissance.
