Rodrigo Oliveira da Silva Alvim (born 23 November 1983 in Porto Alegre) is a Brazilian footballer. He currently plays for Flamengo, as a left back. After making his professional debuts in his homeland in 2003, with Sociedade Esportiva e Recreativa Caxias do Sul, Alvim went on to represent Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense and Paraná Clube. In July 2006, he moved to Portugal's C.F. Os Belenenses. After two impressive Portuguese first division seasons, Alvim signed a three-year contract with Bundesliga outfit VfL Wolfsburg, on late July 2008.
