Rodrigo Antonio Cordero Solano (born 4 December 1973) is a Costa Rican professional footballer who currently plays for Asociación Deportiva Ramonense in the Primera División de Costa Rica. Nicknamed Rocky, he played for CS Herediano, C.S. Cartaginés and Municipal Pérez Zeledón before joining Ramonense. He is a tough-tackling midfielder with enormous energy and determination. Cordero has made 34 appearances for the Costa Rica national football team, including 14 qualifying matches for the 2002 FIFA World Cup. He made his debut in a friendly against Argentina on June 21, 2000.
