Roger William Byrne (8 February 1929 6 February 1958) was an English footballer and captain of Manchester United F.C.. He died at the age of 28 in the Munich air disaster. He was one of the eight Manchester United players that lost their lives in the Munich air disaster on 6 February 1958.
