Roger Field is the current Vice Chancellor of Lincoln University in New Zealand. He was appointed Professor of Plant Science at Lincoln in 1986. In April 2004 he was appointed Vice-Chancellor. He is Lincoln University s third Vice-Chancellor and the 10th head of the institution since it was founded in 1878. He is the current Chair of the New Zealand Vice-Chancellors Committee. Roger completed a joint honours degree in botany and zoology at the University of Hull, and has a PhD in Plant Science, also at Hull. The University of Hull, also known as Hull University, is an English university, founded in 1927, located in Hull, a city in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
