Roger Hansson (born July 13, 1967 in Helsingborg, Sweden) is an Swedish ice hockey player. He won a gold medal at the 1994 Winter Olympics and became runner-up in the German championships with the Kassel Huskies in 1997. The Kassel Huskies were a professional ice hockey team based in Kassel, Hesse, Germany. They played the majority of their seasons in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga.The club was founded as ESG Kassel in 1977 and was renamed into EC Kassel in 1987. Since 1994, the professional crew of the club had been outsourced into a company with limited liability and belonged as Kassel Huskies to the founding members of the DEL.
