Roger Johnson (born 28 April 1983 in Ashford, Surrey) is an English footballer who plays as a defender for Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers.Johnson began his career with Wycombe Wanderers, where he spent six years as a professional. He then joined Welsh side Cardiff City in 2006 for Pds. 275,000. He was part of the team that reached the 2008 FA Cup Final and was twice chosen as the club's Player of the Year in his three year stint with the club. He signed for Birmingham City in 2009 for Pds. 5m. He was part of the team that went on a club record 12 match unbeaten run and that won the 2011 Football League Cup Final. He departed Birmingham in 2011 after their relegation from the Premier League to join Midlands neighbours Wolverhampton Wanderers.
