Roger L. Wollman (born 1934, in Frankfort, South Dakota) is a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. He is the brother of Harvey L. Wollman, former Governor of South Dakota.Wollman received a B.A. from Tabor College in 1957. He was in the United States Army from 1957 to 1959. He then attended the University of South Dakota School of Law, graduating near the top of his class. In 1964, he received an LL.M from Harvard Law School.Wollman began his career as a law clerk to George T. Mickelson of the United States District Court for the District of South Dakota from 1962 to 1963. He was in private practice of law in Aberdeen, South Dakota from 1964 to 1971, and served as a State's attorney of Aberdeen, South Dakota from 1967 to 1971.
