Rogo nica [r nit sa] (German: Groß Rosen) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Strzegom, within widnica County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.Prior to 1945 it was part of Poland, Bohemia, Austria, Prussia and Germany.. During World War II it was the site of the Nazi German Gross-Rosen concentration camp.Rogo nica lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) north-west of Strzegom, 21 kilometres (13 mi) north-west of widnica, and 54 kilometres (34 mi) west of the regional capital Wroc aw.
