Rogo nica [r nit sa] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Mi dzyrzec Podlaski, within Bia a Podlaska County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland. It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) north-east of Mi dzyrzec Podlaski, 18 km (11 mi) west of Bia a Podlaska, and 90 km (56 mi) north of the regional capital Lublin. The first historical document mentioning Bia a Podlaska dates to 1481. In the beginning Bia a belonged to the Illnicz family. The founder of the city is thought Piotr Janowicz nicknamed "Bia y" (Polish for "white"), the hetman of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Bia a was then a part of Brze voivodeship in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania (then in union with Poland).
