The writer of this memoir has resided in foreign countries for well over 50 years and continues to do so today on an island off the coast of Singapore. This first time author vividly remembers experiences in Asia during the height of the cold war while in Japan, Korea, and in Vietnam where he spent ten consecutive years with his family during one of America's most controversial and tragic conflicts.
