In developing countries Agriculture is the main source of income and employment. It is found that the agriculture sector contributes the lion's share to the national income of Oromiya national regional state as well. This shows the dependence of developing nations on rain-fed agriculture which is not their guarantee for Economic development. Industrial production is left behind in developing nations. this is also one of the contributor for their retarded economic growth. Thus the main emphasis of all the developing nations should be on secondary and tertiary economic activities which are the efficient drivers of Economic growth and development!
