Basti is the prime treatment for Vata Dosha hence the delivery will be easy without any complication. Ayurveda gives emphasis on Garbhini Paricharya (ante natal care) for the easy delivery and also for prevent & cure the common discomforts during pregnancy. In that context Acharya Sushruta explains Payo Madhur Kshaya Siddhen Taila Basti during 8th month of pregnancy. Ksheerabala Taila is a Madhuroushadhi Sidha Taila and is a Vatahara, Shoolahara, and which has Rasayana quality. Matra Basti has the property of Vata Shamana, Anulomana, Garbha Marga Snehana and strengthen the pelvic organs. Hence this work was conducted to evaluate the effect of Ksheera Bala Taila Matra Basti in Garbhini (Pregnancy) for normal vaginal delivery.
