La Dra. Yonca ÖZKAN se licenció en la Universidad del Bósforo (Turquía) y obtuvo un máster y un doctorado en la Universidad de Cukurova (Turquía). Actualmente es profesora adjunta en el Departamento de ELT de la Universidad de Cukurova. Sus áreas de interés son la enseñanza y evaluación de la gramática, el constructivismo en la práctica, la autenticidad en el aprendizaje y la enseñanza de L2.
