Early exposure to various environments have positive and negative effects. In this book the author has tried to know the role of print media in development of child. The development of a child is the age group of 6 to 14 years is the important aspect of the research in this book. The brain of a child can be developed during these years. The parents, teachers or the educational policy is drafted taking into consideration the overall development of a child. These are years when one can really transform the intellectual skills. We find number of parents taking great efforts to look after their kids. A mixed method approach is used in this study where one part in quantitative and the other one is qualitative to explain the role of Marathi children periodicals in development of multiple intelligence in a child.

Dr. Geetali Tilak is a Professor of Journalism and Mass Communication and the Dean, Faculty of Modern Sciences and Professional Skills and Editor of Chhawa (Kids Magazine) and Executive Editor of Mahratta (interdisciplinary peer reviewed journal). Holds double Doctorate degrees in Management and Journalism.
