Shilajatu have different types and different properties.According to charak - Suvaran,Rajat,Tamra, Lauha.According to sushrut - Svarna, Rajat,Tamra, Lauha,Vanga, Naga.According to gandh - Gomutragandhi (black bitumen), Karpuragandhi (potassium nitrate). It posses Katu, Tikta, Kashaya, Rasa and Kaphavatanashaka Karma.

Membership of Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad, facilitated by Young Scientist Award (2016). Bachelor of Ayurvedic Pharm. (2011), Master of Ayurvedic Pharm. (2013), JRF/SRF, CCYP, PhD. in Ayurvedic Pharm. (2019) from Banaras Hindu Univ.
